Switch Places with Assange

As if by magic, he had a smart phone and access to Twitter, what would Julian Assange tweet right now? With only days until the next phase of his US Extradition hearing it’s urgent we act.

Figuratively, if I had telepathy gifts, these are the 10 brief tweets I think Julian Assange would post:

Thank you for joining in the fight. Please keep fighting for me and for press freedom.

We must resist the UK’s extradition of me to the US.

Get me out of here. (Belmarsh) COVID19 is ripping through and I won’t survive if I get infected.

Please help to take care of my family: @StellaMoris1, my children Gabriel + Max (and others), my father John Shipton and my dear mother Christine Assange. Stock the pantry, buy diapers and help pay the rent so we have a healthy home for bail time.

I need access to my lawyers, documents and a computer that is not obsolete.

Fight to have me home, on bail, where I can defend myself and recover.

Fight to have the May 18th US extradition hearing rescheduled to a later, reasonable date.

Thank you, again and again.

I am in a dark place, ready to emerge into the light.

Please help me.

Can you imagine being in solitary confinement in Belmarsh for one hour, let alone a year? Can you imagine the impending doom from the weight of a US extradition freight train running through your mind 24/7? Can you imagine the anxiety that comes with every interaction with prison staff and other inmates in this time of COVID?

It is almost unimaginable. I am grateful that UK prisoner defence organizations are fighting for the rights of prisoners. If there are multiple deaths in custody, the UK will have COVID19 blood on its hands.
