Part 13: GASLIGHTING ASSANGE, Blood on Hands, If a Lie is Repeated Often Enough over Ten Years, Are you Naive Enough to Believe it?
There are a lot of dead bodies during wars, invasions and conflicts. Wikileaks published body counts of actual people who died in the war in Afghanistan, including women and children and innocent civilians.
Don’t blame Assange or Wikileaks or Chelsea Manning for the dead bodies, nor the original impetus for the war, nor the military personnel involved. Blame the U.S..
In 2010, Assange still had internet access and freedom of movement. He responded to this unfounded, repeated lie in the article below.
Gaslighting techniques often deploy this method of repeating a lie, with a specific word or phrase, broadcasting it across media to the point of saturation.
Assange did not start the war.
Assange disclosed the War Logs from Afghanistan because he believed/believes that a peaceful, powerful method to stop war is to disclose the truth. The publication of the Afghan War Logs was an important act which brought recognition of the thousands who died without names or acknowledgment.
It is the US Military that has blood on its hands. Not Assange. Not Wikileaks. Not Manning.
